Eve Lom has been around for years with superb reviews amongst my friends, but that didn’t trigger me to purchase until I decided to give this one a try – just for the name – Rose. Cleansing. Treatment. (huh?!)
My night cleansing routine typically contains 3 steps: Make-up / Sunblock remover, Gel / Milk Face Wash, Treatment Oil / Mask, and this product just sounds like it can do it all, isn’t that a time-saving investment?!
The balm itself is really smooth and easy to spread, neither waxy or sticky, with a divine, romantic, REAL ROSY scent, not a blended rose oil kind of smell. Take a coin size and rub it between your palms, apply directly, no water required. Gently massage the product all over the whole face, including eye area, it breaks down foundation and eye make-up pretty well, yet I don’t need to use facial pads to rub on my face anymore, grimes and protective products can be deep cleansed and come off easily with warm water, left my skin feeling nourished, softened, and smoothed.
Now my new night skin routine is to apply the balm, leaving it on my face for 15mins while I continue working on my writing for the next day, and then wash it off and apply skin care products.
If you are someone that loves to multitask and is lazy like me, worth giving it a try.
