Music heals.

When we hum or sing the notes of Do, Re, Mi, Fa, So, La, Ti, Do on a scale, it activates the energy of balancing our chakras, said Jhené in an interview.

Humming different tunes and feeling their vibrations is a straightforward way of understanding how sound vibration works and how it travels through the body to reduce stress, which is also why in a lot of the guided meditation programs, the sanskrit mantras are humming tunes.

Jhené embraced the practice of sound healing and incorporated the vibrational hum of crystal alchemy sound bowls into every track in the new album.

The name of the album Chilombo, which is her real surname that her father gave to himself, means Wild Beast in the African Language.
