Crispy Chicken Karaage

As a cardiologist, my mom has always been extra conscious of what we eat at home, deep fried food was never on her menu. But on the opposite, my dad has his passion for all things fried, and would alway order his own KFC on the side.

After 10 weeks of lockdown and cooking from home, I decided to fulfill my dad’s cravings by trying this signature Chicken Karaage recipe from On The Table At Home – and surprisingly, the thin dry flour mix made it so easy to drain all the excessive oil after frying, my mom really enjoyed it too.

Top with a squeeze of fresh lemon, have a bite – it is fragrant and crispy on the outside, flavorful and juicy on the inside – perfect for a Friday night with family at home.
